| Jon Emery 2008-01-17 ch 6,  | abuseI enjoyed reading this very much, because it is largely truthful about the garbage and the gold that infuses our thoughts and relationships when we are sixteen or however old this character is. The idea of a digital camera with "hundreds of useless pictures on it" struck me as a pretty clever way of summing up the MySpace generation - we take photos and record our lives in any way we can - diaries, blogs, text messages. But barely anyone writes letters anymore, which is maybe why I found your character so appealing. Plus, bad spelling annoys me too, so I guess there is that... :) |
