One of my favorite lines:

 jammi 2008-01-17 . chapter 1really love the fact that your writing flows like poetry. Well, okay, most of the time poetry confuses me LOL, but you know what I mean, when you find a good poem and everything flows and it's lyrical and brilliant? That's your writing style. I'm still in love with the way you described her waking up in Runaway with the whole lover's caress thing. Your word's make me think of an older time since it's more formal but at the same time it doesn't come off as being pretentious, it just works.
But yeah, I loved the idea of this story. I loved the way you started it after the relationship ended then showed us how she thought of it and the fact that she created him in the image she wanted him to be. *Love* the fact that she didn't say I love you back that first time, because that's one thing I think is a lot more common then people let on. I know a few girls who would be like 'um...thanks/okay/sure?' lol because they're beginning to doubt the relationship.
This was a really cute one-shot, for a second I thought it would end up being a bit angsty but it all worked out and I liked that he didn't change btu at the same time you showed little things, like with teh fact that his friends are nicer. You know the saying, know a man show me his friends. Or...something, not quite sure, lol, but still brilliant, really enjoyed it. |
