not perfect but not bad. a little more figurative language could spice it up but figurative language isn't always necessary. conflict or short worded suspense is attractive in writing, too. just try different styles. mine changes all the time. whatever one sounds most interesting to me that day i try. maybe you should try it, too. testing waters creates better writers. just a thought. keep writing! = )
