I really loved this. Usually I'm not one for one shots, but i think it's amazing that u can make someone feel so moved with abou 100 words.

I don't usually like short stories but there is something enchanting in yours.

Why is it that the only choices are princess or damsel in distress? Why are there no queens?

I would much prefer the crown of a queen on her own throne, not necessarily a crown by marriage to a charming, handsome prince.

Every single word sounds like it's been carefully picked and I like that. The only line I found jarring was "pretty pseudo blue blood." I think you can cut the alliteration and leave it at blue blood/red hot.

This was very powerful; it felt like there was something dangerous swimming beneath the surface, just waiting to pounce. Amazing work.
