I love this! Virgil is such a great character: he amuses me to no end. And it's got just the right amount of sweetness in it. I'm also really interested in the world you've created here, but you don't go into any more detail than is necessary. Like, you let the reader know what's going on because it's needed, so I don't feel lost or anything. So yeah, I really liked this.
