My favorite part is the end, about the transient light of humanity and the ancient rain falling again. Very poetic and profound. Also interesting to think about, because the rain is ancient, i mean to look at it and wonder at all it's seen, all its fallen upon. Should the first word of each sentence be capitalized? I am torn about the first half becuase while I love and appreciate the biology scientific references, I do feel that the "jargon" (ugh hate that word lol) interupts the flow. But i suppose that it worth the scarifice of flow to make the point, and it is a point well made.
