Ahh! It's been forever since I last read this story, but it's just as striking as I remembered. I don't want to leave some short trite review but I have no idea what to write...

Characters. Elliot is so cute in a way, almost like a child in too many ways. He's not immature, I don't think, but he seems like a guy who takes pleasure in like cheap candy. Leander is so stereotypical it's not even funny. Although I've never met a person in... well... that type of situation, his reaction is textbook. But textbook examples come from real life, so I suppose he's good. His personality, though, is super fun. Or, that's my impression. Jude is actually a more likable guy than I thought. On the surface he seems like just another guy, nice but not really, but he has a deepness to him that's hard to ignore. Oh yeah, and Tad's a silly fuck.

The tension between Elliot and Leander is so obvious it's almost tasty. Sexual tension, I hope it is, but even slight inconsistencies in their relationship is okay. I just really like that sort of awkwardness where people just say what they think wil be safest.

Ah shit. Well. I was kind of expecting something like this. Fuck. D:

Is Leander dense or what? I'm glad that Elliot finally had a chance to stand up to him and throw it all out onto the table, but doesn't seem like Leander gets it at all. It seems like Leander and Elliot should be together somehow, but I don't know if that's where this is going. I mean, it just doesn't seem like Elliot and Jude have any great chemistry together. I think Jude likes Elliot alot, but I don't know if Elliot feels the same. Of course, I don't know how in touch Elliot is with his feelings, either. I mean Leander is being really blind to what's going on, but I think Elliot is a bit blind to his own feelings toward Jude. Lots of possibilities for story direction. Another great chapter. I always do a little happy dance when I see chapter updates from you two.

I'm addicted.

I hafta say, Jude is definately my favourite, though I do really like Elliot.

I love this story. It's dramatic and sexy XD I honestly keep expecting the three of them to just jump each other O.o Probably because of Leander... But I really love the plot of this...it's intense! Plus the characters are pretty awesome (even Jude!). And I can't even begin to guess how this will turn out!

I really enjoy the comical descriptions of very mundane, obvious objects -- particularly Elliot's introduction. The hair description had me smirking and the line "He had the stress levels of a mid-forties soccer mom who only had a cumulative total of five minutes to themselves each day, and that was just to take a shit and put on some lipstick." actually made me laugh out loud (though it should be 'herself' not 'themselves').

The dialog is awesome so far, just so you know. It's witty without being over the top (stylized dialog annoys the crap out of me) and it just flows really well. And, ok, I know dialog doesn't have to be grammatically correct, but you touched on one of my grammatical pet peeves when Elliot says ""He'd drug me to this party". Drug should be 'dragged'. I'm really not a grammar Nazi, I swear.

Anyway, I like this chapter on many levels, stylistically. I foresee some tensions between Jude and Leander in the future though. I don't know if I would even consider going out with a guy who was so emotionally dependant on someone else. I think Leander will get more territorial about Elliot too. Yay! Finally a story that promises to be interesting AND funny (so hard to find).
