| water lorelei 2008-02-08 ch 1, | abuseI like this a lot... I read it three times, and I don't know if I'm taking the meaning too far, but "The twisting smiles of ivory/ and clenching hands of steel/ Bar across the whole land/ And make it fearsome to feel" really struck me as men's obsession with weapons... and fighting... Did I take it too far? Ah, well. I liked it, so Yay! -Rachel xoxoxoxo |
| Blissfully Sarcastic 2008-01-31 ch 1, | abuseI liked it. One part bugged me though: "As holy as the choir That sings upon the winds The sounds that will inspire All the secret whims" The rhyming seems forced here. I'd change it around a little if you can. Other than that, the wording is great. Just try to separate it into different stanzas (just so it's easier to read). |
