Am I one of those people who's s'posed to get the title? 'Cause if so I'm having a slow day.

I love this poem. You laid out the rhyme and meter perfectly; I especially like the way the last stanza has three rhyming lines. It's a perfect conclusion to the flow of the thing. The imagery on the walls and apron strings is incredibly touching. I love "the near and the dear and the damned"-- the way it seems to cycle with the rhythm, and moves from rhyme to alliteration, is just absolutely perfect. Heck, the entire thing is perfect.
