The first stanzas written in italics are my favorite.

I think this poem was well enough alone without the italics, bold, and underlining.

The way I figure it, breaking down lines gives an equally dramatic effect as opposed to messing around with the content.

Seems like someone had a writer's block here, but also something even deeper than that.

I liked it overall.

It sounds like intense emotion that was wrenched out into written words. (And I don't mean that as a bad thing.) I like the mystery behind it. As to your summary, well FP lacks many genres, I believe.
