abuseLOVE LOVE LOVE the ending! The periods really emphasized the words. My favorite part must have been the second stanza, with the mention of lies not being lies. It really gave me a different perspective on things.

abuseHow I feel all too often, but in better words than I could have written. Lovely, in a dark, wintery way. By the way, thanks for being the first to review any of my poems.

abuseAh, I love this. I love all your works, though, so that's no real surprise. The formatting, and having the "she said I said" and even using & instead typing it out all really added to the poem. I hate saying shallow comments without seeming to really understand the poem, so I'll just shallowly say I hear ya loud and clear and lovely work.

abusereally powerful ending... I loved the part about the lies... it flowed well and the kaleidoscope image was wonderful... I also LOVED the comparison between people and snow... and how you then question it... really awesome piece

abuseWow. Intense. I felt this was put together very well. I don't know what it is about it, just that it seems very carefully done. Which is nice. I love the bit about snowflakes, the line "fading away as a candle in the dark," and the title. Really nice job. Keep writing! :)

abuseLove it. The mood feels panicky and confused, and there were a few parts I thought were amazing: the first line, the entire second stanza, then the idea of comparing snowflakes to people. When you say 'or maybe that's just snow, you know,' it brings out the feeling of second-guessing yourself and losing track inside of your mind. One thing I didn't like was 'fading away as a candle in the dark'; I've never seen a candle fade, but I think that's more like a personal preference thing.
