I really love how this flowed. I love the vocabulary you used, as well. Parts of it remind me of the rhyme about Guy Fawkes:

"Remember, remember, the 5th of November

The Gunpowder Treason and plot ;

I know of no reason why Gunpowder Treason

Should ever be forgot..."

I love the God and Hamlet references, as well. The whole piece is tragic in a very eloquent and hopeful way.
