Very stark and strong use of words and images... something that relates to your idea of a gun, maybe? A solid, cold power? The final line especially conveys this idea. Everything means less when you have a gun and, though short, this work proves the point. Nothing more needs be said, does it?

I liked your rhyming and how you expressed the emotions! I liked your setup with the way you parted each sentence and I liked how you wrote the sentence "words mean less when you have a gun", since it stood out so much from the others and made it so clear that it was a serious theme.
