because i came across it a long while ago and remember you taking it down for that purpose and i liked it so much i was determined to get a copy

I kept thinking of stories that would go along with this. I kept thinking, "This would be an awesome foreword/prologue to a story!"
I love the wording, and the refrain-ish thing... It made me almost feel sad, almost.
