I get them, but only barely, as in, I get that Bossier City is screwed. However, I know it's all part of the bam-bam-bam, exciting-suspense-event-after-event...those hyphens were fun. I dunno, I'm just relatively confused trying to catch up I guess. Heh. Yay! Writing splurging of doom!
