very metaphorical- i love it.
a read a story on fictionpress where the protagonist was ranting about semi colons( it was something about the union of semi colons- similar to a marriage, the way a comma and a period are together until they seperate, as in divorce)
i guess the meaning of punctuation is much deeper than a lull in your sentence right?
