Reviews For: The Draft
super scholar 2008-02-16 . chapter 1
I agree with you. Anyone who advocates the draft is an idiot. There is nothing worse than killing people, and doens't democracy cease to be the "consent of the governed" when we impose it on people. War and the draft are ironic and hypocritical. It is no wonder that the world hates America with its arrogent attitudes of superioiry.
I would die before I joined the military; I would die before I killed people. Anyone who advocates this idocricy should read Farwell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway, a real wake up call to check the romanticism of war.

Wow.
First, let me say that this was very well written, and seems to be quite well thought through. If this was a timed assignment, I (were I your teacher) would give this an 'A'.
Second, you made some very good points, not to mention I agree with your position completely.
I didn't see any grammatical errors, but I miss them in my own writing all the time, so don't take my word for it.

I haven't read any of your other essays, but I'm going to as soon as I post this.
Very good writing, keep it up!
(Didn't that sound like a teacher thing to say?)
