The chemistry between the Hunter and his little songbird is--to put it bluntly--hot.

I love that you play around with dominance roles, instead of being extremely linear with the typical seme-uke pattern (seeing as a lot of slash is Japanese-influenced). A huge part of me wants Rae to be the submissive one, but seeing Hunter seduce his prey so passionately makes me dismiss that thought almost immediately.

Beautifully written, although the hunter-bird metaphor grew just a tad wearisome. The witty banter between Rae and Benedict, however, was perfect. I especially loved the line where Rae said he didn't share. Your narration was impeccable; I could practically see the rage on Rae's face as he threw an inkbottle, or a glass, or a book at Benedict's retreating back.
