I never ventured into the historical fiction spot, I never thought there'd be anything good, but I saw this story there on the "Just In" page, and it looked really good, which it is! Keep writing!

I thought you did a great job transitioning from the last chapter. We are really feeling the love. :) Separated - NO! Sniff* Oh, this can go so, so many ways I can't even guess. Can't wait for more.

I'm very curious as to Klara's brother now. Is he gonna welcome them? will Klara get along with him? will he hate her for marrying a supposed Nazi? will he even still be alive?! i wanna know!

I don't think anyone has had a full 24 hours without some form of drama going down. But at least you gave us all that wonderful end to last chapter and such a nice beginning to this one before you dropped the next big bombshell. Or was it you said about "lulling" and "false sense of security"? Sneaky, that. There's the most horrible foreboding sense that all the big stuff is going to go down now that they're separated. I think I can see the little cogs moving, ticking over... plotting, planning and another word that starts with 'p' that I'm too tired to think of. Gr, exam period, destroying my brain cells one sleepless night at a time. Anyway, I for one want a happily ever after. But that's a long way down the line yet so I'll settle for another chapter!
