My favorite lines: "his blood stains hands that aren't mine / but I'm not innocent at all. / I cheated on my wheel of fortune / but I was destined to steal your wings."

The contrast between light and dark works well... the ending is really interesting, the desire to become an angel despite lacking innocence. Good writing.

There's something about this piece which makes it so intriguing, I can't put my finger on it. Most of this seems so powerful and almost resentful towards the world, yet the last line has a sentimental quality. Anyway, I really like it.
