yaoi ownz you 2009-10-20 . chapter 1wow, I think I'm gonna pay a bit more attention in history class now, lol. Anyway this was really good |
Avec Plaisir 2009-02-17 . chapter 1Ooh, this was such a wonderful story! I enjoyed it! 'Twas very good. ^_^
BUT! there are a few pointers...
1. I don't like how the POV is broken up like that. It makes it very confusing for fast readers like me, since we tend to skip over bold'd headers. >> Plus, it's broken up with such little text in between. It's hard to transition over to the next person.
2. There were a lot of grammatical errors. >> I'm such a grammar nazi that I can't pass it up. Especially in the dialogue. There should be commas after every sentence. That sounds confusing, so here's an example: "“Mon dieu, cet endroit estmerveilleux” I hear him whisper." is wrong. D: It SHOULD be "“Mon dieu, cet endroit estmerveilleux,” I hear him whisper." But, I saw that you got better as the story progressed. ^_^
So, that's about it for the pointers. It was a very good story, as I said before. Keep writing! |
 Absolutely Absurd 2008-12-25 . chapter 1Well, er.
I'm glad someone saw that Lafayette and Washington had a relationship...
but may I point out to you: it was a FATHER/SON relationship.
Read Adopted Son by David A. Clary. It's about them. |
99luftbalons 2008-04-23 . chapter 1That was sad and sweet, as well as exquisitely written. My friend and I were talking about George Washington a couple of weeks ago, and I brought up the idea of him and Lafayette having an intimate relationship, and she didn't really agree, which surprised me. |
Risi-Chan 2008-04-02 . chapter 1Hello! Your fic wasn't half bad. I thought I would help you with the french as you mentioned that you were not very good at it.
Saying instead of ma qualite, try mon dieu. merveilleux instead of merveilleuse. Je t'aime instead of j'adore tu (adore is adoration and aime is to express love even though it technically only means like). Tu me fait fou instead of votre me rendre fou pour tu and mon cher instead of chere. Sorry for the lack of accents, but it should be clear. Keep writing and bon chance mon amie! |
