I'm doing something called the Review Marathon right now (for more info there's a link in my profile). When I read this I wasn't too sure about what you meant by this being linked to other stories...Until I figured you meant dealt with the same characters and followed along the same story line. I haven't read the others, just this one. Your dialogue in this is pretty believable so that's a plus...except it moves along too quickly, there aren't many surprises. I had a hard time connecting with the main characters, a lot of their scenes seemed rushed. You have a pretty good storyline going on here though, the whole human testing thing is interesting as hell. And I think you should continue this and not just leave it hanging :P
