i liked the conversational effect, but the last line could've been more powerful i think.

That was beautifilly written and the story itself is sweet. I'm actually a little jealous at how smooth and naturally the ryhming goes.
Anyway, I can kind of relate to this. I think everyone can, actually. I know I've had some of these more than once...
Anyway, lovely job on a lovely poem for a lovely holiday.
