Oh the Passion for God! There is no doubt in this piece! The words flow as a geuine cry out to God. Somewhere in Psalms it says " He hears the cries of the destatute and does not dispise their plea." Well done! I enjoyed reading this piece =)

I really, really liked this. It reminds me of Psalms: 21st century style. You have some really great descriptions in here:

"Build in me a fire!

I desire to be a light on a hill"

"Father, take my fears!

Dash them on the rocks

Wash over them with Your waves of grace

Scattering them to the ocean depths"

How ever some of the stanzas are a bit vague. for example, In the first line, of the first stanza Can you describe something more tangible to God's beauty? I know nothing could overshadow it, but God has created everything beautiful on earth, and everything beautiful is a reflection of God. When "my chest aches deeply" what does that feel like? can you describe it?

you're really talented. I hope my suggestions haven't discouraged you, but encouraged you. God is happy that you're using this talent he's given you to honor him.
