This is a pretty good story. Not to say that I'm in favor of homosexuality (because I'm not), but the way you portray the main character is, I'm sure, very realistic, and causes the reader to feel sympathy and compassion towards him. Well done.

Yes, it's sad. But it happens all the time. It's hard admitting that you're gay--my mom said she didn't have to accept it, so I switched and told her I was bi. She was OK with that... As long as there's still grandbabies, huh?

that's really sad and i think it's terrible that people ca react that badly to people being gay too
