Nightmare Of Eden 2009-06-15 . chapter 1The repetition works well, usually repetition gets annoying, but in this case the repetition is well done.
...Repetition! |
LoveLustAngel 2008-08-23 . chapter 1Wow Taylor that's really good! You're an amazing authour! (oh, it's alex btw lolz, i finally got a fictionpress) |
Jesse the Storyteller 2008-08-16 . chapter 1"As if neither are really the way I am. It's an odd feeling really" ... really? ;) Take one of those out and it'll sound a lot better.
I like how this sounds like someone talking to themselves. The ... in the line "As if... I am its tool" was nice. It seemed real, along with the short sentences such as "Maybe a dream. But not EXACTLY a dream." It is how I would talk to myself if I were sitting around babbling while I painted.
I like this line especially: "I've relaly lost track of which world I want back." It caught me off-guard because I didn't really realize he/she was losing anything, and then I realized that... I feel like that quite a lot, actually.
It all seems very real, as I said, like someone talking to themselves. Good little blurb! :)

Maziana 2008-06-30 . chapter 1Hm, slightly creepy to think of painting controling us rather than the other way around. But it is enjoyable. It makes people think... |
Stormer 2008-03-30 . chapter 1Yay, paint! I am about to start painting again, after years of hiatus. I can't wait. My fingers are itching! I've hired a tiny little art studio with a couple of friends. Woot!!
I liked this writing :) |
Kinderwhore 2008-03-07 . chapter 1You like basing stories on quotes, don't you? ;)
But moving on: you're right, it is a bit weird. I wasn't entirely sure what you wanted to say exactly, besides the fact that painting/art is compulsive, something that you can't control...
Anyway, I really liked your use of repetition here, although again, some more detail would be nice. :) |
dedicatedto grown up zeros 2008-03-06 . chapter 1Definitely weird, but I like it! Very philosophical in a new way. It's things a person has never thought of before and which our puny minds can't comprehend. Like something God created and only He can understand. |
