I like that there's no Deus es Machina kinda thing going on, it's just two guys that become friends and so on. I really like all the characters, too. Great job. I'll wait (im)patiently for the next chapter.

Mattie--I gave Matthew a special nickname xD--is so loveable with his socially awkward personality; I wanna huggle him. And Caleb is just too cool, man. Love your characters! They're quite believable and easy to like and they have depth too. Poor Julie. That is quite the sob story for a little girl. It makes me want to shower her in ice cream and teddy bears. I just have one suggestion. Add a bit of description and flair to your stories. Less telling, more showing. -nod, nod- Anywho, I was quite taken with this story and await the next chapter eagerly. Excellent job, love. ^^

Pundit 2008-04-06 ch 4,	abuseHow can Caleb still be hanging out with all his (Melissa's) high school friends if he moved from Texas when he was 19? Did all of his high school friends migrate with them? Or is he only friends with all of Melissa's college friends? For some reason I was under the impression that Caleb had been locked in the same social circle for the past decade. I will have to re-read. Also, I totally bet Melissa is a homophobe because she secretly suspects Caleb is homosexual/bi-curious(aka: ambi-sextrous) and so she's taking out her insecurities on Matthew. Aw, I love Matthew. He's so adorably cuddlesome.
