That's quite intense and sad. I know so many who feel "His was a lonely face That people passed by Forgetting his name." at times. That stanza really stood out. Good job

dark, very very dark and lonely... and very good! I especially like the second-to-last verse "he was a black rose... placed on a broken alter" this has a lot of good imagery!
