The writing is superb.
The subject is interesting.
The tone..a little too depressing. It made me even more depressed than I already am right now.. That's not your fault though, so don't mind me.

this is a pretty accurate description of ocd. i have minor ocd(the tv volume has to be on a multiple of five, as do stove top nobs when i'm cooking. i can't touch other peoples shoes or socks, others can't touch mine, anything that touches them is dirty). i don't have it so bad cause its overwhemed by other stuff. but i can see where your coming from. nice work. depressing, but nice.
