So... so... so poetic. There's really no other adjective for it. Poetic really describes it well. My favorite part was: "I think they're beautiful" in italics. It was just so... arg, I can't think of another word besides poetic. :P

This is strange, but in a good way! I like your writing style!

I really like this because not only do I know the bus and know the atmosphere and the whole backpack on the seat thing, the other imagery in this is superb.
Way to not take his seat, jeez. XP

What I love about this is the wonderful relationship daydream you have created. I love the idea of such an archetypal figure as a lion tamer being recognisable and (potentially) apporachable in everyday life. You have dusted this wistful, bittersweet tale with circus magic.
