you lost me during the Info dump about lycans at the top of the page... i would suggest that you teach your reader as our story goes... and i would strongly warn you against such info dumps... it almost sounded like another prologue.

you're story sounds a lot like my story Truthful Deception, except mine is told from the point of view of the human main character

Cool. Right, I liked the preface, I thought it was well done. I don't read much warewolf stories, bit boring, but I can see your gonna do something interestnig with your, ah, plot. So is Peter a werewolf too? Weird how he notices things like aria is a çreature of the night so fast O.o

Personally I thought the chapter was a little long, and we also really didn't care about her dad as a reader before he died. Yeah, he hugs her and all, cute, but theres really no feeling when he dies, it's like, oh hes dead and then she cries. But we're all jjust like, so what. ANyway , sry, other than that I thought it was pretty well done. A few cool jokes, when aria talks abuot her mom talking in her sleep and stuff, but overall it was kinda tense, i thought. Good job :D
