Fallen Harmony 1/29/09 . chapter 1I love the descriptions you used throughout the poem. I have a cold, too, though I'm glad it's not this bad. :( Great job; I loved this line: "Whilst stormy wind rattles through Clinking, choking me as it blows." |
a certain slant of light 3/9/08 . chapter 1This made me thank f*ck my cold isn't this bad. You described how it is to have a cold extraordinarily. Very well done. [Sorry I couldn't reply to your email; my hotmail wouldn't let me, dunno why. Probably cause it hates it ;P] |
simpleplan13 3/8/08 . chapter 1this piece is really awesome... the descriptions are just beautiful... the image of your hair line cracking was so unique and the metaphor with the pick axe was also great... the drumming part was nice as well... my favorite part was "nose leaks snot in runny waterfall" that was really great... then switching to summer for the last two lines was a nice contrast PS If your bored check out the Review Game and its Review Marathon (links in my profile) |
123454321 3/8/08 . chapter 1This has to be the most vivid poem I've ever read about a cold. Your imagery is superb and similes not lacking. The second to last line, however, says 'cool summer breeze', but if you have a cold would you not want a 'warm summer breeze'? -J.A. Courtesy of the review marathon (link on profile). |
