I love the descriptions you used throughout the poem. I have a cold, too, though I'm glad it's not this bad. :(

Great job; I loved this line: "Whilst stormy wind rattles through

Clinking, choking me as it blows."

This made me thank f*ck my cold isn't this bad. You described how it is to have a cold extraordinarily. Very well done.

this piece is really awesome... the descriptions are just beautiful... the image of your hair line cracking was so unique and the metaphor with the pick axe was also great... the drumming part was nice as well... my favorite part was "nose leaks snot in runny waterfall" that was really great... then switching to summer for the last two lines was a nice contrast

This has to be the most vivid poem I've ever read about a cold. Your imagery is superb and similes not lacking.

The second to last line, however, says 'cool summer breeze', but if you have a cold would you not want a 'warm summer breeze'?
