Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty, love and sexual DESIRE, and Apollo was the god of sex, handsomeness, and the sun. Aphrodite was his aunt, and there /are/ obscure stories of their having sex.

"Tree" and "bike" ("See, that is what you’re supposed to do if you see something that might inflict bodily harm on someone else") will make me go LOL for the rest of the day. And also the anti-dramatic-ironic way Rhys tells her he knows her name.

To bang! associate Apollo with "Greek sex god" was kind of forced, unlike the Aphrodite moment, actually, because she's openly associated with love and sexuality, and while Apollo is brimming testosterone he's still more commonly associated with poetic inspiration and fiery chariots and valour and all that warring!Roman stuff.

The opening, too, well, it was cute how he goes out of his way to walk into her, but the writing of the first few paras didn't really flow that well. The rest of it was lovable romantic cliché, but "tree" and "bike" were still anything that made it extraordinarily good.

aw. i love this story too. you are going to be so sick of me reviewing!! I just wish it was longer!

I love this, more than Battle Scars. I love this. It is so happy and cheerful and wonderful just like love should be.

Isn't Aphrodite with Hephaestus or whatever his name is? And I thought it was Artmeis or Athena who was related to Apollo... well, whatever. It was wonderful!
