i'm not a person who's into cats, at all. but just the way you really pour your emotions out so perfectly makes me love your cat if only because of how much you loved him. i especially like the first chapter- it's almost painful to think over those few lines, especially once you've read the second and third parts. i hope toby is purring too x

Gosh, I almost wasn't able to review this because it was so sad. I was in tears. I have two, thankfully healthy, kitties that can be a handful sometimes, but I love them so much. I'm sorry for your loss, I could hardly imagine your pain.

I like the first part... the description of basically a cat's heaven is sweet and interesting since it's so different from ours

The guilt part is really great because we all feel guilty after someone's death and it's nice

The last stanza I relly loved because I actually had to make the decision to put my cat to sleep so I can really understand.

The last line is so simple and sweet... it's also a perfect way to tie together the beginning and the end

can it be the same chair you used to sleep on?.. sleep in sounds better to me

i know that this is the door/where you cried to be let in. the door where you cried just sounded odd to me.. I dunno because it's not the door they cried.. maybe cried at? I dunno

I love the lines about the meows echoeing in the hall... I could almost hear it.

I really like how you go from the physical envoiornment to your arms physically then to your emotions.. it was a really interesting way for the piece to flow.

I read this without reading the summary first and I was so confused

I like this becuase it's so true that cat hair is always everywhere and that it's such a sad reminder if that cat is gone, but I wish there was more... maybe make it into a haiku or something? Just those two lines didn't really seem complete to me
