The opening reminds me of the beginning of the Gospel of John - is that an intentional allusion, or a coincidence? Good themes in here.

Lovely! This poem portrays crystalline and almost naiveté view of things, which is a beautiful way to think of the subject matter. It strikes me that it's rather similar to the poems in Love, Stargirl, (have you read it?), though it is very different because its not personal.
