I actually started tearing up! I want to slap her mom in the face for leaving such a good man like him behind! I RAWWR! Maggie's dad seems so cute though (in the way that I am not attracted to older men 20 years my senior, really). Awesome chapter, I really liked the father-daughter moment, I think family moments can be the sweetest times. But moments between Adam and Maggie can be sweet too =D

This is a great story. I love where you're taking it and I love your style. Very descriptive, but not suffocatingly so. Your characters are very believable and Maggie is awesome, for lack of a better word. I look forward to the next chapter.
