| lady-in-the-mirror 2008-03-31 ch 1, | abuse"That smile Like the first colour of saffron dawn, Like the touch of a river to bare ankles, Like a knife through the heart." Love that verse. Whole poem is goregous too. YAY UPDATING. |
| from beneath the bell jar 2008-03-18 ch 1, | abuseGood piece. I like the tone - she is carefree and slightly rebellious and he is lusting, but remorseful. I've always liked this story. And I like the way you've portrayed it. Well-written. |
| Tranquil Thorns 2008-03-18 ch 1, | abuseVery pretty! Vibrant imagery - I loved the pictures you created in that final stanza. I have my own Persephone story, but your take on her seems entirely differently from mine. The lines 'Her mother will be furious,/She says with a smile' exhibit mischief, which I found really interesting! I like this 'new' take on the myth, though! Nicely expressed. |
