Hmm... interesting! Just when, er, what year is this story taking place? I wasn't clear if it actually was the 1800s or present day or what. At any rate, the whole Catholic, women-should-be-in-the-kitchen-barefoot-and-pregnant thing is quite a lifestyle to think about having to live under. I like stories about characters that question the norms of their society and times.
