Very interesting structure and involvement of main characters. I like the way you have created a child with such a distant, mature personality, and emphasized it with the way in which the story is told. The engagement between the adult and the child is really interesting and makes me want to know more about it. As this is only a small extract it is hard to see the plot, but the way it is told is really absorbing.
