Doesn't that sort of deplete the reason for vows? The special appeal of reading out words that you have written for them - specifically for them - to let them know how much you love them. They're good words, and I dunno, maybe you wrote them with someone in mind, a girlfriend, a fiancee, or because they popped into your head for no apparent reason. But (yes, of course there's gotta be a but, sorry.) if we all just recited pre-written words... then wouldn't it be meaningless? I don't know, maybe I'm wrong; correct me if I am.
