Different...this one was a little harder to follow. Very deep and very moving. Definitely not a light read. The jumping between the two brothers was a little confusing but albeit necessary for a more dramatic effect. I could never really say anything bad about this...hehe, I have a weak spot for sailors.

However, it seems that Bezu's story was much more developed than Jean's. Bezu had the story while Jean had the perspective.
