Not sure why I called Ryan 'Alex' in my last review; I blame it on me being a ditz XD. But, ah, yeah, just wanted to correct that mistake. And just to say, again, I find the themes that you write about to be incredibly interesting. Especially this one, with such a large age difference (larger than the age difference in The Wolf and the Lamb at any rate)

Sorry it took me so long to actually read and review; life's been crazy, but that's neither here nor there. While I didn't get a chance to read the whole story just yet, I can say at least that I definitely like Snow, not because he's a "black character" but a character who just happens to be black. I'm curious to see how his character will develop, so I'll just continue to read and give a fuller review once I have a clearer picture.

Beautiful... I really enjoyed this story so much, I registered just so I could add it to my favourites.
I enjoyed the plot, character outlines, the somehow detailed yet non explicit smutt, the mellow ending that doesn't leave you aching but satisfied.

I can't seem to put into words how much I'm grateful for finding and daring to read this story (the word rape scares me off REAL fast!), just that it left me happy.

I only have one problem with this story. It needs a sequel or one shot with lots of Evan, Sno, and Ryan sex. I must admit it took me a while to get through the first chapter cause Ryan just screamed racist but he calmed it down and his ignorance was erased realistically. So I didn't mind it no more. Great story. Good Job.

Okay all I really want to say is you are an amazing writer! I don't care who you are, or what you like there is no denying the talent of a truly talented author and man do you have the flow! You are definitely on my list of top ten favorite authors ever!

My god this story is amazing. I read the first few chapters awhile ago but I didn't get around to finishing it till now. I'm glad I did : D

I got through the second chapter and I had to stop..Im sorry but it just dosen't right me reading about a young boy I might add having sex with an older male..that's just wrong in so many levels...the male is like OLD and the boy he's barely fifteen..I mean some ppl may like this story, others may think your writing is amazing..Im not judging your writing skills or if your even able to write...all im saying is this type of style and plot isn't my taste..and it just leaves a bitter nasty taste in my mouth to continue reading..so I must click exit on this story but I do wish you well in your upcoming work..you seem to have a great since and interest for the historic kind of writing if I wasn't mistaken by reading the first chapter..anyways...once more sorry if I offended you in anyway wasn't my liking.

This whole story was absolutely, 100% genius. Even the ending, open-ended as it was, was just...excellent. You started with you characters and you built them up from day one - especially our lead, who starts out having an issue with the dark-skinned Sno (and rather strong opinions to match) and gradually, noticeably, begins to dispel each one, right after the other. His opinion moves from disgust to complete admiration, to the point that he's able to look past the skin and see into the heart - such was his coming of age, it inspired.

I'll admit, the opening chapter had me a bit put-off by the strength of his opinions on Sno, but I'm glad I made it from beginning to end. A true happy-ending, in all manner of the phrase, and a great story, though I will criticize you for the last few chapters; I feel that you could have expanded on the section on their return to society, rather than just time-skipping it. Regardless, your prose is fluid, at times (and unexpectedly) heavy-handed, and you refrain from pulling punches - a refreshing combination, and it lends itself well to this story. Well done, and I look forward to future works, as well as reading (perhaps reviewing, perhaps not) your other tales.

This was really an entertaining read, I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely an interesting topic for a story. The central theme isn't atypical (sex as currency is easy enough to find), but the specifics, of the Dutch boy bargaining with an African man for passage... It adds a lot to the story. You really did a great job writing Ryan and his reactions to the racial and lifestyle differences between himself and Sno.

I want coconut curry now. YUMYUMYUM. Damnit Failte! I can take the fact that, being a girl, I'll never be able to have M/M sex myself, but you're making me want CURRY! And there's nowhere to get it in this damn suburb! *cries*

Erm, anyway...

I like how -intimate- Sno is, really makes me feel for him since he doesn't get the opportunity for lovers much given the illegality of gay sex in Morocco. It's kind of sweet that he's not just in it for the sex, but for the intimacy.

Labyrinth was my favorite movie when I was Ellen's age too. M, David Bowie... Stupid ugly leggings though, made his package look funny.

Gotta love that "I'm not gay" reasoning... It doesn't matter, Ryan!! I definitely feel bad for him feeling like "the woman" and his "put me in a dress" comment certainly led to an interesting conversation... and frot, yay frottage!

I really enjoyed the conversation between them after it finally hit Sno how young Ryan was and that he had parents... It was very realistic. And Sno really is a good guy... Nice that Ryan realizes it and says how he feels :) The shift in their relationship there is great. Ryan's newfound confidence was fun to read.

Lisa asking Ryan how to give head after their conversation was priceless.

I really liked this... it's very true.

"Y'know – this would be a lot less embarrassing if I had a vagina. Well, win some, lose some, I guess." Ah the joys of anal sex :) at least Sno knows what he's doing.

Ryan's relationship with Evan is so cute and innocent compared to Ryan and Sno's... that's to be expected though. And Ryan has become quite the manipulator! What a wonderful ending...

So, yeah. Great story, wonderful characterization and dialogue, and immensely entertaining. Thanks and great job :)

hey i love the story and all but for my sake and curiosity could you please write an extra chapter for their threesome please?

It's actually physically impossible to like anything as much as I'm like to this fic right about now.
I like it all, from the characters, to scenes to how just about everything plays out. I really like Ryan's thought progressions and how him and Sno interact - even apart from the sexual! - their dialogue and conversation. I did kind of think that Ryan jumped to quickly into being that bit more dominant in their 'deal' but I'm all for him being that bit more dominant.
So, basically. *Hero worship*
This is one of the only stories I've ever considered adding to my favourites list and the first one that ever made it to the list. I think that merits some variation of congratulations. :)
