i loved the first version of this story, but never got to read the second. Now that I read the third, I have to say I already enjoy it a whole lot more. Thank you for this, I love the way that you wrote this version.

That was an absolutely lovely story opening! I am almost at a loss for words. The style reminds me very much of either Patricia McKillip or Robin McKinley (two of my very favorite authors). You have written something rich, something magical - something just plain fun - and most of all, something very sad.

I look forward to more.
