OH my God, Sixteen Candles just popped into my head - and I know just like that! :P [“Lily, as much as I love torturing you, it’s only fun when I’m the one making you squirm; besides I wouldn’t wish Travis Kingly on even my worst enemy he’s the biggest sleazebag I’ve ever had the misfortune to meet.”] Oh my God, it's the first half of that sentence that could so lead a girl on! The other half though, got me a bit confused. Maybe you missed a word? Or added one too many? [They were head quartered in Fort Collins, Colorado; it was the furthest I could get from David while still being near enough to Mandy that I wouldn’t have to waste a full day driving just to visit my best friend, who had previously accepted a job offer at Grier and Grier, a law firm based in Denver; her fiancé was Trent Grier, son of the Mr. and Mrs. Grier who had headed up firm in the early nineties and had moved on to become one of the best international business law firms in the country.] It explains a lot, but what worries me is that all these words compose just one sentence. Maybe you could separate them up a bit? Okay, other than those really minor stuff, I like this so far! You have a nice, easy writing style that I like. And I like how she's hopeful at the end of this chapter. :) She admits that she's reached a low point in her life, and she's slightly hopeful for the future. :) Good job so far!
a bitter kiss. 2008-04-02 ch 1,	abuse[I hate to break it to you but you broke my heart that day when all you did was laugh.] You forgot the comma after 'you'. So I'm guessing they used to hate each other, but in the end, she ended up falling in love with him? But I guess that didn't happen for him. Wow. So this is a twist on the hate-to-love storyline. Sad, but cool.
