This sparks me for some reason. It is kinda like the way I felt about catholicism, just before I started believeing something else.

This poem leaves the reader in no doubt as to the emotion you are trying to express. That’s what I really like about it, it hits you head on. To Hesateaus I would say that not everyone shares your opinion. Just because someone has a different opinion to yours does not mean that there is anything wrong with them. The job of a reviewer is not to criticise a writer’s opinions but to point out how they might improve their work. I am not a poet and so can offer little in this regard. However, the lines below I personally found to be a little confusing:

She said I lived wrong for living.

That if I was even good,

Stating them in a different way might help to make them clearer to those of us who are not regular readers of poetry.

hey there, I see that you got flamed (unfairly, I'd say). I like the poem, basically because you are capable of expressing the angst and anger, and that's a poets job. You did well. Although, I think you would do even better if you didnt break it into fainty lines. Sometimes the content is expressed a lot more strongly if you write it like you normally would but trying to sound lyrical. I dont know if Im accurate enough, it's hard to explain.

I suggest you read Nietzsche, even if it's philosophy I think you'll find it quite intereseting. At least his views on christiany.

Wow, that was f**king awesome and your profile rule as well, seriously. Makes me want to write down stuff like this when I'm mad/moody and post on fictionpress _;. Anyway it's kinda nice (wait is that right word for this), whatever...as I was saying it's kinda nice to see someone else in the world how want to live life their own way and can't stand religions controlling rules. P.S. to all you flamers out there on this topic, quiet down and open you eyes people and live life by your own rules, damn now I sound like I'm preaching _;.
