I feel this poem. I think I understand it and relate. Always be positive and keep writing.

What I loved in this piece was "dying with every beat of my heart". It's interestingly layered (every beat of our hearts takes us that much closer to the future, where death awaits), and great cadence.

You know I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to poetry, but I liked this one!
