The adventurous one had good enough sense to run away, but the one who stayed seemed to have a sense of ‘what will be, will be’ kind of mindset. The snake is a beautiful but also a very dangerous creature, the second person might be less cautious of the snake, but her outstretched fingers seem to say that she doesn’t care about the danger as long as she can touch the snake.
