This is a very interesting yet at the same time a strangely heartbreaking piece. You’ve really outdone yourself this time. I was somewhat disappointed with where you ended it. This could easily become a series if you were so inclined to do so. The demoness strikes me as content with where she is, but at the same time she isn’t completely happy, not that she would let the angel know that for fear of the dreaded ‘I told you so’. Even though there might be love between them (or at least admiration on the part of the demoness), there can never be a compromise without one of them giving up their beliefs.
