abuseI commend ur efforts for coming up with a rather spiritual "sermon" in the blibical aspect. Yes i think that most of the time men tend to look for the bigger sign of miracle then to hear the whispers that He softly lets out..

I would remember a story that goes like this, in closest proximity to its likeness:

"a man was drowning in the river. He prayed to God and ask Him to save him from drowning..and he kept praying for God to save him tat he did not even realise the vine sticking out of the tree that he can use to save himself. Then he continued praying, when he saw a wood he can use to stay afloat. yet he negelcted it and continued praying. finally a helicopter came and lowered the rope ladder for him to climb, yet he rejected the assistance and continued that the Lord save him. In the end, he drowned and die"

What can be seen here is an example of wad u said regarding mankind seeking big signs of miracle, yet not realising that God works in quiet and miraculous ways. God ensured the man's survival by deciding on a vine, a floating plank, and in the end, a rescue team coming in a helicopter. but apparently the man was too ignorant that God has indeed answered his plea for help, yet he totally neglected the assistance offered in search of a miracle. i dono, mayb he was hoping the heavens open up and a big transparent hand life him up from the river? xD

All in all, i commend ur efforts for producing this essay on how mankind may sometimes be too focused on the world then to quieten down and seek His voice. God bless =)
