Oh wow, now that there is a question. The truth is the universe has yet to give an answer to it. How do you balance pain with happiness? Tips and tricks really are useless here. I can tell you this, and I dont mean it as advice more than just a statement on the human condition: to think of one person as a source of comfort and happiness can NEVER end well.
On a separate note, I loved the poem, as always. "I know I need to stop. But I cannot." I love those lines.
